Last week, the FOUNT project was proud to be represented at the SACNAS NDiSTEM Conference—one of the nation’s most significant gatherings for advancing diversity in STEM. This event brought together passionate educators, students, and innovators committed to expanding opportunities for historically excluded groups in science and engineering.
For FOUNT, participating in NDiSTEM meant sharing our mission: making advanced computer science education accessible through public infrastructure like Chameleon Cloud, FABRIC, and SPHERE. Our team engaged with attendees to highlight how educators can leverage these powerful, NSF-funded research platforms to enrich classroom experiences and bridge the gap to real-world skills.
FOUNT’s presence underscored the transformative impact of public resources—not only accelerating research but fueling hands-on learning for all. We left inspired by the energy and commitment of the SACNAS community, more determined than ever to help every aspiring technologist access genuine, high-impact computing education.
