FOUNT Project Showcases at Tapia Conference and CyberTraining PI Meeting

This year, the FOUNT project had the opportunity to present our work at two significant events: the CyberTraining PI Meeting in August 2024 and the Tapia Conference in September 2024. These conferences provided valuable platforms to share our progress, network with peers, and engage with diverse communities in computing and education.

At the CyberTraining PI Meeting, we presented our poster detailing project outcomes, including courselet development, evaluation results, and strategies for expanding our impact. The event facilitated meaningful discussions with other researchers and educators, opening avenues for future collaborations and knowledge exchange.

Our participation in the Tapia Conference, one of the largest gatherings focused on diversity and inclusion in computer science, was particularly rewarding. We showcased the Chameleon Testbed and demonstrated how Trovi artifacts are used within the FOUNT project. Engaging with attendees from various backgrounds allowed us to highlight the accessibility and inclusivity of our educational materials.

These outreach efforts are integral to our mission of broadening the reach of data systems education. We look forward to continuing to share our work at future events and building connections that enhance the impact of the FOUNT project.
